Rick Kennerknecht, Fruita, Colorado.
Outlaw music is a category, not a brand. It means songs about outlaws, rebels, renegades, frontier characters, pirates, gunslingers, bootleggers, lawmen, and other figures from American history. OutlawMusic.ai is where that history becomes music. The catalog started with a conviction: the marshals, outlaws, warriors, and women who shaped the American West deserve their own songs. Not a footnote in someone else's album. Their own songs, with their own names in the title.
Bass Reeves arrested more than three thousand fugitives and most Americans have never heard his name. Lozen rode as a warrior and a prophet. Mary Fields drove the mail through Montana blizzards and never missed a run. Susan Anderson walked snowdrifts in Fraser, Colorado to reach patients for forty years. Every one of them is worth three verses and a chorus.
Every song is a letter mailed from a place that doesn't exist anymore.
The work is done here in Fruita, Colorado, on the western edge of Colorado, between the Book Cliffs and the Colorado River. Research, writing, production, and the plagiarism check before release. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is hidden. Read how the ballads are made.
